Ms. Davis

I am originally from Los Angeles, California, but have lived in Texas for the past 12 years. This is my 22nd year in education, with the last 13 years serving as a counselor on all levels. I have earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice (specializing in Psychological Services) from Grambling State University. My daily goal is to motivate and inspire students to set and achieve the goals that they desire, and to empower them to make great choices. My positive and motivating personality is displayed always, so that students will eventually emulate those same characteristics and leave a valuable impression on others. I believe that students can achieve anything that they put their mind to. “Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” -Theodore Roosevelt.

Being a counselor has been an amazing experience. I am confident that students will become well-rounded individuals by continuing to help them maintain academic, social, and emotional balance, as they work toward success. I aim at remaining positive and being the support that all students need and deserve.
